A fast-paced, informative and fun presentation by
Lynette J. Hoy, NCC, LCPC and Ted Griffin, Editor/writer.
Everyone has some expertise and experience in feeling and
handling anger. This seminar with demonstrate to you that:
Anger is a complex emotion we can still learn more about and
a force that God can use to accomplish His purpose in the
world and in our lives today.
"Most people believe that anger is a negative emotion from
which no good can come. Many Christians think that anger should
not be expressed and that such feelings are sinful. This seminar
explores the emotion of anger and how anger-which is a part
of the human experience- is a force God can use for His purposes." You,
your family, friends and clients will gain a new perspective
on anger, how to let God control you when it flares up and
how to understand and help others struggling with their anger!
Learn about:
• Anger's many faces
• When anger is helpful or harmful
• The sources of anger
• Biblical examples of anger
• The role faith plays in anger
• Cognitive distortions
• A biblical strategy for handling anger
• How to turn anger into assertiveness, problem-solving and
forgiveness
• When to take a time-out
